FIELD TRIP RULES:
- All field trips are open to members of the Hells Canyon Gem Club. All participants are required to sign a current Field Trip Rules, Claims, Safety and Release of Liability Document. This document is also required for minor children (under the age of 18) of club members, signed by the parent or legal guardian. In addition, the minor(s) must be under the supervision of the club member at all times.
- GUESTS are not permitted on field trips due to liability issues.
- MEMBERSHIP CARDS serve as identification; carry it with you on field trips. Members are required to sign up for field Trips; notify the field trip leader(s) if they decide to not attend after signing up & if they need to leave the field trip site early. PETS are not allowed on field trips on private property.
- RETURNING TO FIELD TRIP SITES: When a field trip takes place on private property, club members may not return to the site without the explicit permission and authorization from the land or claim owner(s).
- COLLECTING: Collecting specimens is for non-commercial personal use
- How RSVP works. If you have RSVP’d you will receive an email about a week before the field trip asking if you still plan on attending. If you respond yes to that email you then get put in a group text message a few days later to coordinate attendees.
